  1. It gave me so many issues (without any real speed gain) that I've replaced it with a 850 PRO SSD SATA disk.
  2. I verified this new card with H2testw, and it tested fine.
  3. And even if it doesn't, I've learned a hell of a lot about the boot process that I wouldn't otherwise have delved into.
  4. I've tried moving the Portal folder, defragmenting, verifying, and I've tried -novid and -window.
  5. This assumes that there is no line undervoltage condition present.
  6. It got to "host_chose finished 86!" and then froze.
  7. Using the latest Ubuntu (which seems to boot in about 30s), and having a great time.
  8. Thanks anyway...
  9. Hard Disk Sentinel reports no problems with the 240GB SSD.
