i try to differen login it's working . I would not change it. When the 20 minutes expires my monitor do not enter in standby. This problem occur usually when I open my computer and and I don't work on it(go away from my PC). This problem I've been a long time user of Partition Magic and it has always served me well until recently.

Turned out to be so simple, I should have figured it out myself. For me it didn't matter because the drive was new and blank anyway. My external HD icon appears in the tray that it is connected, but does not show up in disk mngt or my computer or anywhere. So I can access my data, but it's a nuisance having to go through Disk Management anytime I want to utilize it.

Now I can use all my external hard drives, USB jump drives and card readers from my computer. I could see it from WIN XP SP3 disk manager, but not from Windows Explorer.
