Or for that matter, you can buy a new floppy drive and floppy data cable cheaply, probably for under $20. My computer worked fine i have had it for less than 2 years. I did it anyway. Could be a problem with the motherboard. Now i can t hear the noise anymore , but still not present.I ve got a windows 7 64 disk repair taking from an hp laptop.when I put it it shows I used a Sata connection to my 2 y/o MB and I had to get a converter for the 4pin to sata power.
