no harddrive is really holding up recently.. Trying to solve the freezing problem so daughter can continue to go to online college. 0$ to invest right now. If this does not do it I would try starting in safe mode to see if it boots faster. ARGH! Click the Startup tab and you'll see a list of programs, the name of the manufacturer of each program, and the program's path (where it's kept on your hard drive).
