Anyone have idea why is this and how to solve? Tried swapping around with free power supply cables, even got out a fresh one from my 6800gt box and tried that but it didn't help.

What happens differently when you are at the desktop in XP that would be hardware related ?Any ideas appreciated whether it's software or hardware related. Ask !
