I'll double check the motherboard drivers but I'm sure the one's I've got are up to date. I installed a secondary drive (Western Digital WD Black WD1002FAEX) today. If the drives are not being recognized, check that both power and data cables are in tightly (including the motherboard end for the data cables), and that the jumpers are set Seagate Installation Software by R. Ask a question and give support.
If it works it would have saved me hours of data transfers.

If you already have Windows installed on another hard drive and are trying a new install on the new drive you will need to either remove the old O.S. It won't be that bad. However, if you are having this problem, I guess it can't hurt to try the solution to see if it works the same way in Windows 10. Thanks for those who provided suggestions.
